Empanada Papi is the creation of Chef Philly Phill, a classically trained private chef who fell in love with Puerto Rico’s bold flavors and turned them into crave-worthy hand pies and island-inspired comfort food.
What started as a pop-up passion project quickly became a go-to favorite with clients at breweries, wineries, festivals, and private events.
From the crispy, golden empanadas stuffed with slow-roasted lechón to playful island mash-ups like the Loco Moco Empanada, Chef Phill crafts every dish with fresh ingredients, scratch-made sofrito, and a little bit of island soul.
